we are young

Love is a war fought between two,there are many obstacles, many trials, and many lessons to be learned,but more importantly you learn about one another. To love for ones every flaw,mood,and emotion,to accept one for who they are are,to love and be in love,and the power to know the difference.

Lets go back to a 7 year old onika...

 onika: mom im going out to plaaayyyy!!!!

Carol: did you clean your room like i told u to?

onika: *sighs* yes mom 

carol: did u do the dishes?

onika: yes!

carol: is that homework done young lady?

onika: yes! can i go now?

carol: watch the attitude now

onika:  can i PLEASE go now?

carol: well i guess. make sure those shoes are tied and remember to put your jacket on.

onika: im not five you dont have to make sure i tied my shoes anymore

carol: which is why u didnt tie them last time right? 

nicki: bye mom!

Down at the park little onika sat on her pretty pink blanket under her favorite tree. It had the softest grass patch and the most shade perfect for when it got too hot.  she unpacked her play bag which consisted of  her favorite barbie dolls, her stuffed pink monkey she called eleanor, and her tea cup set.

onika: oh eleanor its a such a splendid day for tea dont u think darling? why dont i pour us some? (she said in her best british accent) 

Meanwhile, a 10 year old drake, 10 year old trey, and 9 year old marion passed by on the sidewalk riding there bikes.
drake: hey there's nic.
trey: yea so? 
drake: maybe we can ask her if she want to..
trey: no way no how no sir
drake: but..
marion: listen to trey. shes a girl.look at her over there playing with her barbie dolls. EW! 
trey: yea she couldnt hang with us. plus she has coodies.
drake: -__- really? coodies? 
trey: yes! all girls have coodies! thats what my big brother said
drake:  not all girls have coodies!
trey: hold on..why are u defending her?
marion: yea man! you like her or something? *pushes his shoulder* 
drake: no i dont like her..
marion: yes u do! you want to hang out with coodie girl. that makes u coodie boy! coodie boy coodie boy!
trey: coodie boy and coodie girl sittin in a tree k i s s i n g!
drake: shut up man!  i do not like her
marion: oh yea? lets see! HEY ONIKA! CAN U COME HERE FOR A SEC? AND DITCH THE DOLLS!
drake: what are you doing?
trey: if you dont like her..show us!
marion: unless you want to be called coodie boy for the rest of your life *laughs*
trey: sh! here she comes
onika: hi drake, beevus and buthead 
drake: h..hi onika
marion: *mocks him* hi onika  
trey: *snickers*
onika: shut up!
trey: so i see you play with barbie dolls, girls!
marion: having a tea party with dolls and teddy bears.whats wrong no friends?
onika: is this what you guys called me over here for?
drake: well i was going to ask if u wanted to ride bikes with us
trey: i bet she cant ride a bike
marion: she probably has pink training wheels 
drake: *laughs* 
onika: you guys are such morons. aubrey i dont see why u hang with them.
drake: dont call me that. my name is drake and theyre my friends
marion: at least he has friends 
drake: yea!
onika: i thought we were friends too AUBREY! 
drake: i said dont call me that! why dont u go back to your coodies and barbie dolls! little baby!
onika: whatever! *walks away*
 marion: i guess you really do have it in you man!
trey: whatever! lets go!

onika: i dont know why boys are such jerks! *thinking to herself* "aubrey is always nice to me until he gets around his but face friends" she was taken out of her thoughts when...
 safaree: hey onika
onika: do i know you?
safaree: yes we have class together. ms.bailey's class
onika: oh ok. what do u want?
safaree: i was wondering if maybe u wanted to play.ride bikes maybe...
onika: look if u came over here to be a jerk or because u feel sorry for me i dont need it so u can be on your way
safaree: i saw what drake and his african booty lickin freinds did just now
onika: *giggles*
safaree: *smiles* i want to be your freind. im not a jerk im a coon!
onika: a what?
safaree: a coon! *dances around*
onika: youre crazy! *laughs* ok we can be freinds.ima call u faree. is that ok?
safaree: *shrugs* fine with me
onika: *holds out her pinky* freinds?
safaree: *locks pinky's* freinds!
